Teen Acting Workshop: Finding your best character and character type

Let’s dive in to the reality of theatre. Who are you as an actor? Are you a singer who acts? or an actor who sings? Maybe you’re a dancer who acts? Can you be all three? Are you a comedian? An ingenue? It’s important to know the answers to these questions as you prepare for auditions. Every play isn’t going to be the perfect fit, but you need to know where you fit into each play and what plays to pass up. Once you get the part, how do you make it your own?
